By creating a team Mission and Vision, we were able to align multiple product teams working on the same product towards a single outcome. This not only helped clear up day to day questions, but helped the team come to work excited to do more than clear off one more Jira ticket.

I assisted in creating this initiative, defining the language, and consulted on the icon design.

Actually useful personas

Having a purpose is great, but it can be hard to internalize it and personalize it over time. I created a set of personas to help humanize our efforts. These personas were based off of research that had been performed by our marketing department's case studies as well as personal interviews I performed with clients.

As the designer of the admin experience, I was in charge of providing a massive amount of customization to our users. The information architecture here was baffling at times, and was a team-wide effort to continually simplify and streamline our processes.

As we were using material design as our basis, things got tricky as we created more and more complex form interactions. Puzzling out how to keep the sophisticated functionality without causing undue work for our developers was a great challenge.
